Eagles Musician Joe Walsh Auctions Hundreds of Guitars - Joe Walsh auctions 50 years of rock history—from guitars to a legendary mixing console

Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh is selling off a vast collection of memorabilia gathered over his 50-year career. The auction includes hundreds of used cars, stage outfits, and even a historic mixing console. Bidding opens online and in Los Angeles on December 16 and 17.

The event, titled Life’s Been Good, features around 400 items from Walsh’s time with the Eagles and the James Gang. Among the highlights is a 1966 Framus Strato Gold De Luxe 12-String guitar, used on the Barnstorm debut album. Another standout piece is a mobile mixing console from a Record Plant recording truck, once used by the Eagles, Rolling Stones, Elton John, and Metallica. Estimates place its value between €215,000 and €430,000.

The two-day auction offers fans a chance to own pieces of rock history. Many items reflect Walsh’s decades in music, from rare playstations to iconic stagewear. The sale also supports veterans through Vets Aid, though no other organisations are confirmed as beneficiaries.
