Jeremy Becker claims another poker title with $71K Venetian victory

Jeremy Becker has secured another major poker victory, this time at the Venetian in Las Vegas. He won the $1,100 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em UltimateStack, taking home $71,805 after outlasting a competitive field.

Becker dominated from the start, finishing Day 1a with 707,000 chips—nearly twice as many as the next player. His strong performance continued as he built a commanding lead in the $1,600 buy-in MSPT New Years Poker Open. The event drew enough players to exceed its $300,000 guarantee, reaching a final prize pool of $389,760.

This latest win adds to Becker’s impressive record. Earlier, he placed fifth in the $10,400 buy-in WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, earning a career-high $710,000. During that tournament, he briefly held the chip lead at the final table before finishing behind Kfir Nahum, who took second for $51,322. With over $4.5 million in live tournament earnings, Becker remains a formidable presence in high-stakes poker.

The victory at Venetian marks another strong result for Becker, reinforcing his reputation as a top competitor. His consistent performances in major events continue to boost his career earnings and standing in the poker world.
