Jean-Baptiste Pano claims first Spadie trophy at EPT Prague
The 2025 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague festival has wrapped up one of its key events. French player Jean-Baptiste Pano took down the €2,100 No-Limit Hold'em Single Re-Entry tournament, securing his first Spadie trophy. The event drew 167 entrants and built a prize pool of €320,640.
Pano outlasted a diverse final table featuring players from eight countries. He defeated Denis Gergoc in the heads-up battle, sending the runner-up home with €46,880. The victory marked a significant career leap for Pano, whose previous live earnings stood at $42,935—now boosted to over $250,000.
Pano’s win in the €2,100 event adds another name to the festival’s list of champions. The €5,300 Main Event continues, with the field narrowing and the top prize still undecided. Further updates will confirm the eventual winner of EPT Prague’s flagship tournament.
