Jason Law’s bold all-in backfires in dramatic poker showdown

A key hand at the poker table saw Jason Law eliminated from the tournament. The clash came against Lynne Stephenson, with both players committing chips after the flop. Law’s exit follows a bold all-in move that ultimately failed to hold up.

The action began after the flop revealed 10♣, J♦, and 7♦. Stephenson, holding 10♦7♣ for two pair, led out with a bet of 1,000. Law, with A♠J♣ for a pair of jacks, responded by pushing all in for 13,900. Stephenson made the call, putting both players at risk.

The board ran out with the 6♠ and 2♥, leaving Stephenson’s two pair ahead. Law’s single pair was no longer enough, and he was knocked out of the tournament.

Earlier reports had incorrectly suggested Law was eliminated with 72,600 chips. However, the only verified ranking places him 72nd on the Pure Poker Tour leaderboard with 163.2 points.

Law’s elimination came after a failed all-in with a pair of jacks. Stephenson’s two pair held firm, securing her the pot. The hand marks the end of Law’s run in this event.
