Jake Long claims 2025 MSPT Player of the Year in record-breaking season

The 2025 MSPT Winter Poker Classic has concluded with notable performances. Jake Long secured the Season 16 Player of the Year title, while Kou Vang set a new record as the all-time money leader in MSPT tournaments. Other players also claimed significant honours in a competitive season.

Jake Long took the top spot in the Player of the Year race, preventing Umut Ozturk from winning a third consecutive title. Long earned $314,604 across the season, including eight side event victories and two Main Event final tables. His consistent performance pushed him ahead of the competition.

Jake Long's eight side event wins and strong finishes cemented his POY victory, while Kou Vang's earnings record set a new benchmark. Other awards, including Ozturk's Icon of the Year and Copeland's Senior title, highlighted the depth of talent in this year's competition.
