Irish Poker Tour 2026 unveils β¬1M+ in guarantees across eight major stops
The Irish Poker Tour (IPT) has announced its 2026 schedule, including eight major events across Ireland. The season commences with the Galway Poker Festival, boasting a β¬300,000 guaranteed main event. Players can anticipate a blend of regional stops and increased guarantees, such as a β¬300,000+ prize pool in Dublin.
The year begins with the Galway Poker Festival at the Galmont from January 23 to 26. Its β¬300,000 guaranteed main event sets a high standard for the season. Just days later, the Munster Poker Festival runs from January 30 to February 2, hosting a β¬100,000 guaranteed main event with a β¬250 buy-in.
Carrick-on-Shannon follows on March 7, featuring a β¬25,000 guaranteed tournament at the Landmark Hotel. The Northern Poker Festival then takes place in Dundalk from June 26 to 28. Dublin's Monster festival, scheduled for April 29 to May 4, will exceed its 2025 guarantee, promising at least β¬300,000.
The Killarney Festival returns to the Gleneagle Hotel in September 2026, with a β¬700 buy-in main event. Beyond Ireland, the IPT plans an international event in a sunny location and at least one UK stop. Paddy Power remains the main online partner, with qualifiers also available via the IPT website and Unibet Poker.
Typical IPT events focus on accessibility, offering one-day tournaments with guarantees ranging from β¬25,000 to β¬100,000. Buy-ins usually stay between β¬100 and β¬300, often using monster stack formats. The full 2026 schedule, expected to include over 20 festivals, will be announced later.
