Incredible Year Sees Thomas Clack Crowned National Poker League Champion
Thomas Clack has been named the 2025 National Poker League (NPL) Champion after a standout year on the tournament circuit. His success includes multiple high-profile finishes, two major wins, and a £40,000 sponsorship deal with Grosvenor Casinos.
Clack’s impressive run began with a second-place finish in the £200 Goliath, earning him £217,500. He followed this by winning the £1,650 High Roller at GUKPT Coventry for £55,200 and the £1,650 High Roller at GUKPT Leeds for £31,570. His consistency continued with a third-place result in the £1,250 GUKPT Blackpool Main Event.
Across 2025, he cashed in 36 NPL tournaments, reached 15 final tables, and secured two outright victories. These results pushed his total earnings for the year to over £430,000. His achievements also earned him the title of Grosvenor Casinos Player of the Year, along with a £40,000 sponsorship package. As part of the deal, Clack will now represent Team Grosvenor. The 2026 GUKPT season kicks off on January 8 with GUKPT London, running from January 8-18 at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino.
Clack’s dominance in 2025 has cemented his place as one of the UK’s top poker players. With a sponsorship deal and the NPL title, he heads into the new season as a key figure in the British poker scene. The upcoming GUKPT events will offer further opportunities to build on his success.
