Improved Learning Environments through Innovative LED Technology in the Classroom
Waukesha County Technical College has recently modernised its Building B lecture hall, installing LED video screens from SNA Displays. The upgrade, led by Camera Corner Connecting Point (CCCP), has transformed the venue into a versatile and functional space, suitable for interactive and instructional sessions.
The heart of the upgrade is the 1.5mm BRILLIANT Interior LED technology from SNA Displays. Each of the twin LED displays processes approximately 3.7 million pixels individually, resulting in a combined total of 7.4 million pixels. This high-resolution technology ensures clear communication over a large space, as noted by Jackie Lavoie, senior director of global channels at SNA Displays.
CCCP, a part of SNA Displays' Preferred Partner Program, was chosen by the college in 2023 for their proven expertise and capability in upgrading technical and AV infrastructure. The partnership with SNA Displays proved to be an outstanding experience, according to Jason Hussong, account manager at CCCP.
The lecture hall's large amphitheater-style design includes a retractable wall that splits the space into two rooms, each with their own fine-pitch video screen. The twin LED displays, wall-mounted and measuring approximately 7.4x13.1 inches (1,440x2,560 pixels), now face the auditorium's three sections of seating.
