Hà Nội’s Free Museum Celebrates Legendary Poet Tố Hữu’s Life and Legacy

The Tố Hữu Museum, dedicated to the life and works of the renowned Vietnamese poet, is a free-to-enter attraction open every Friday and Saturday. Situated in Hà Nội, it's a must-visit for poetry enthusiasts. Inaugurated in 2020 to mark the 100th anniversary of the poet's birth, the museum spans over 120 square metres, offering a comprehensive look into Tố Hữu's life and career. It's divided into two parts: an exhibition section and a recreation of the poet's house. Born Nguyễn Kim Thành in 1920, Tố Hữu was a prominent revolutionary poet and politician who passed away in 2002. The museum will host an exhibition titled 'Stamps and Poetry: Tố Hữu's Imprints Over the Years' on October 3, 2023. This event will showcase significant works and milestones from the poet's life. Afterwards, students will be invited to explore calligraphy inspired by his poetry. The Tố Hữu Museum is not only a place to learn about the poet's life but also an interactive space for visitors, especially students, to engage with his works through workshops and games. With free entry on Fridays and Saturdays, it's an accessible destination for all.
