Graton Casino Awards Over $430K in December Jackpots Ahead of Billion-Dollar Expansion
Graton Resort & Casino in Northern California has once again made headlines with big jackpot wins. Two players struck it lucky in December, taking home over $430,000 between them. The casino is also preparing for a major expansion, with plans to build a sprawling entertainment complex worth billions.
In December, a player at the casino won $290,112 from a $5 bet on Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em. The jackpot came after landing a royal flush on the flop—a rare and high-paying hand. That same month, a Vallejo local also hit a $140,000 win on Dragon Link, starting with just a $2.50 bet.
The casino, which opened in 2019, is now looking beyond gaming. It has partnered with Enterprise Rancheria to develop a 350-acre entertainment complex. The land was rezoned in 1998 from agriculture to an entertainment and sports district, paving the way for the project.
The expansion will feature three main zones: a music festival area, a riverfront space, and a hospitality sector. This last zone will include hotels, a water park, and convenience facilities. Investors believe the site's mix of attractions sets it apart from other West Coast destinations.
Meanwhile, the casino continues to draw players with ongoing promotions. A $100,000 progressive jackpot drawing is scheduled for February 25, 2026.
The recent jackpot wins highlight the casino's reputation for big payouts. With billions planned for the entertainment complex, the site is set to grow far beyond its current gaming offerings. The development aims to create a major destination for visitors across Northern California.
