GGPoker's Olive Branch Initiative offers banned players a second chance

GGPoker has launched a temporary programme to allow banned players a chance to return. Called the Olive Branch Initiative, it lets former users request reinstatement by meeting strict conditions. Over 1,200 applications have already been submitted since the scheme opened.

The initiative requires players to email [email protected] from their registered account. Each submission must include their GGPoker screenname, full name, and a clear reason for seeking reinstatement. Proof of identity, a selfie holding that ID, and proof of address are also mandatory.

Applications will only be accepted until 1 October. GGPoker reviews each case individually, with decisions sent out by 1 November. The programme is not a permanent feature—it runs only until 4 March 2026.

The scheme targets players who can demonstrate a commitment to fair play. However, approval is not guaranteed, as every request undergoes a detailed assessment.

The response has been strong, with more than 1,200 players applying since the initiative began. Successful applicants will regain access to their accounts, while rejected requests will remain banned. The final deadline for submissions is 1 October, with outcomes confirmed the following month.
