Georgios Vrakas claims €164K and WSOPC ring in Rozvadov’s Main Event

The 2026 World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC) at King’s Resort in Rozvadov has crowned its champions across multiple events. Greek player Georgios Vrakas took down the €1,500 Main Event, securing his first WSOPC ring and a €164,000 prize. The festival also saw winners from Italy, Romania, and Slovenia claim titles in side events.

The €1,500 No-Limit Hold’em Championship Main Event drew a competitive field with a €1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. After intense play, Vrakas emerged victorious, defeating José Gómez Casillas from Mexico in the final heads-up match. The final table featured players from seven different countries, including two Czech competitors: Roman Papáček, who finished fourth, and Zdeněk Žižka, who placed seventh.

Vrakas, already a seasoned winner, had previously triumphed in PokerStars National Championship events in Barcelona and Prague back in 2017. His latest victory adds a WSOPC ring to his growing list of achievements. Other standout performances included Daniele Sacchi from Italy, who won the €600 6-Max event for €26,240 and his first WSOPC ring. Cosmin-Ionut Nica from Romania claimed the €3,000 High Roller title, earning €68,100 and his own WSOPC ring. Meanwhile, Zdeněk Žižka, despite his deep Main Event run, also secured a WSOPC ring in a separate event. The festival concluded with Jan Zupec from Slovenia winning the €1,000 Bounty Hunter NLH event, taking home €22,270 and the final WSOPC ring of the series.

The 2026 WSOPC King’s Resort series wrapped up with players from across Europe and beyond earning titles and significant prizes. Vrakas’s Main Event win marks the latest highlight in his career, while other winners added their names to the growing list of WSOPC champions. The event reinforced Rozvadov’s reputation as a key destination for high-stakes poker tournaments.
