Foxwoods Unveils Pequot Woodlands Casino with Tribal-Inspired Modern Gaming

Foxwoods Resort Casino is set to open its newest addition, Pequot Woodlands Casino, on August 29, 2023. The 50,000-square-foot venue will bring modern gaming alongside tribal-inspired design, marking a major update for the resort.

The casino will feature 430 slot machines, 24 table games, and a dedicated VIP slot room with 130 machines. A standout attraction is the 'Truth Searcher' slot bar, offering 40 seats, while a public bar will also serve guests on the gaming floor. Inside, the decor will highlight Pequot tribal traditions, emphasising themes of community, unity, and alliance.

The opening follows the recent launch of Gordon Ramsay's HELL'S KITCHEN at Foxwoods on July 15. The restaurant, the sixth in the US, can accommodate up to 260 diners. Meanwhile, Wahlburgers, a popular fast-casual burger chain, is scheduled to open at the resort by late August. Jason Guyot, president and CEO of Foxwoods, described the new casino as a significant upgrade. He noted that it would provide world-class amenities, reinforcing the resort's position as a leading entertainment destination.

Pequot Woodlands Casino will expand Foxwoods' gaming and dining options. The facility's mix of tribal heritage and modern features aims to attract both regular visitors and new guests. Its opening coincides with the resort's broader push to enhance its entertainment offerings.
