Four Winds South Bend Casino Unveils 23-Story Hotel and Hiring Spree
Four Winds South Bend Casino is preparing to open its new 23-story hotel tower early this year. The venue, owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, will become the largest hotel in northern Indiana and Southwestern Michigan. To staff the expanded facilities, the casino is hosting a job fair in January with immediate hiring opportunities for various games and news positions.
The casino first launched in 2018 after securing approval from the National Indian Gaming Commission for Class III gaming operations. Under a tribal-state compact with Indiana, it began offering full casino games, including slots and table games. In November 2021, it further expanded by opening a retail sportsbook.
A major expansion followed, adding 45,000 square feet of gaming space, bringing the total to 185,000 square feet. This allowed for 850 new slot machines, 11 additional table games, and a dedicated high-limit area. The casino also introduced a new cage and cashier section to handle increased activity. The latest development includes the 23-story hotel tower, featuring 317 rooms—83 of them suites—alongside a bar and grill, lounge, spa, and rooftop swimming pool. A new meeting space, the Ribbon Town Conference and Event Center, offers 16 meeting rooms and a ballroom for up to 600 guests. To fill roles for the hotel and spa, Four Winds will hold a job fair on January 3 and 4, from 10 am to 4 pm. Applicants aged 18 or older can attend, with some positions offering on-spot hiring and a $500 signing bonus.
The hotel tower’s opening will mark the completion of a significant expansion for Four Winds South Bend Casino. With new gaming areas, event spaces, and hospitality services, the venue aims to attract more visitors to the region. The job fair will provide local employment opportunities ahead of the hotel’s launch.
