FIVB to Reveal World Beach Pro Tour Challenge Venues; NRL Heads to Las Vegas Until 2028, Wembley Stadium in 2027
The International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) will start determining and announcing the venues for the World Beach Pro Tour Challenge from 2025 onwards. Meanwhile, the National Rugby League (NRL) has secured Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for several games until 2028. The Football Association (FA) has expressed interest in hosting an NRL game at Wembley Stadium in 2027 as part of the NRL's global round plans.
The FIVB will begin revealing the locations for the World Beach Pro Tour Challenge events starting in 2025. This move aims to provide greater visibility and anticipation for the tour's fans and participants.
In the world of rugby league, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas has been confirmed as the host for multiple NRL games until 2028. Some of the matches set to take place there include Canterbury Bulldogs vs St George Illawarra Dragons and Newcastle Knights vs North Queensland Cowboys in 2026. Additionally, a Super League clash between Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos is also scheduled.
The FA has shown interest in bringing the NRL to Wembley Stadium. After initial discussions with NRL chief executive Andrew Abdo, the FA is considering staging a game at the iconic venue in 2027. This move aligns with the NRL's plans to kick off its 2027 season with a global round featuring nine matches across various cities worldwide.
