Final 16 battle for glory in 2026 Kings of Tallinn poker showdown

The final day of the 2026 Kings of Tallinn poker tournament has kicked off with just 16 players left in the €1,100 Main Event. Each is now battling to secure a spot at the nine-handed final table. Among them, one competitor has already claimed victory—Finnish player Veli-Pekka Penttinen, who qualified for and won the event's final.

Spanish player Guillermo Gordo leads the field with 3,915,000 chips, equal to 78 big blinds. He holds a strong advantage over the rest of the competition. In second place, Israel's Tal Barasofsky has 3,015,000 chips, or 60 big blinds.

At his own table, England's Gary Fisher tops the counts with 1,955,000 chips, representing 39 big blinds. Meanwhile, Norway's Christina Solli sits with the fewest at her table—760,000 chips, or 15 big blinds. Latvian player Girts Zarins holds the smallest stack overall, with 845,000 chips, just 17 big blinds.

The remaining players will now push for survival, with only nine spots left at the final table. Each elimination brings them closer to the prize and the title.

The tournament's outcome will hinge on the next few hands. Guillermo Gordo's dominant chip lead gives him a clear edge, while others must fight to stay in contention. Veli-Pekka Penttinen's win ensures at least one Finnish name in the record books for this year's event.
