FDC Misamis Power Corporation has once again been named the top real property taxpayer in Misamis Oriental for 2025. The company, led by President and CEO Juan Eugenio Roxas, remitted ₱213,357,097.20 in taxes to PHIVIDEC Industrial Estate this year. Governor Juliette T. Uy praised the firm’s role in driving inclusive growth through responsible corporate contributions.
The recognition marks another milestone for FDC Misamis, which has held this distinction multiple times since 2018. Its 405MW baseload power plant in PHIVIDEC Industrial Estate plays a key role in stabilising the region’s energy supply. The company’s tax payments for 2025 included ₱106,469,159.39 allocated to Misamis Oriental as of the third quarter.
Juan Eugenio Roxas, the company’s chief executive, expressed gratitude for the honour. He described the award as both a privilege and a responsibility, reinforcing FDC Misamis’ commitment to excellence in operations and community partnerships. The firm has also pledged to keep improving its services while expanding its development initiatives beyond fiscal contributions.
Governor Uy highlighted the importance of such corporate taxpayers in supporting local progress. FDC Misamis, in turn, reaffirmed its dedication to working closely with the provincial government. The partnership focuses on responsible corporate citizenship and long-term regional development.
With its latest recognition, FDC Misamis remains a major contributor to Misamis Oriental’s economic stability. The company’s tax payments and energy operations continue to underpin local growth. Moving forward, its focus stays on service improvements and community-focused projects.
