EGBA Launches New Hub for Safer Gambling Across Europe

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) has unveiled a new website dedicated to European Safer Gambling Week. The platform offers a wealth of resources, including helplines, support services, and practical tips for safer gambling in various European countries.

The website features a comprehensive help page, listing helplines and support services tailored to players across different European countries. Additionally, it provides an event schedule packed with conferences, workshops, and webinars throughout the week. These events aim to educate and engage players, promoting safer gambling practices.

EGBA, the driving force behind this initiative, has set its mission for 2023 as establishing industry-wide standards for transparency, protecting minors, and ensuring independent oversight in influencer marketing. Last year's European Safer Gambling Week, held from 17-23 November, saw an impressive 195 organizations from 26 European countries come together, reaching over 3.1 million people. EGBA's ultimate goal is to foster a well-regulated online gambling market with high consumer protection standards in European countries.

The new website, launched for European Safer Gambling Week, serves as a vital hub for resources and events promoting safe and sustainable play in European countries. EGBA's commitment to this cause is evident in its mission and the success of last year's event, setting the stage for another impactful week in 2025.
