EAPT 2026 Heads to Northern Cyprus with €1.5M Guaranteed in Poker Showdown
The European Poker Tour (EAPT) will return to Northern Cyprus in 2026 for its next major event. From March 8 to 15, the Merit Park Hotel Casino & SPA will host a week-long festival featuring 22 tournaments and a guaranteed prize pool of €1,500,000. Organisers have announced special promotions, including branded merchandise and extra rewards for participants.
The series will centre around a €2,200 Main Event, with one-third of the total prize money reserved for its winner. The champion will also receive a custom EAPT glass trophy. Alongside this, at least 75 seats will be up for grabs in online Sunday qualifiers, each with a €220 buy-in.
PokerOK, the event's official partner, is running online satellites to give more players a chance to enter the Main Event. Additional prizes will go to the last three players in the Main Event, Mini Main Event, and Mystery Bounty, as well as the final survivor in the High Roller—provided they wear the event's branded T-shirt.
To qualify for extra rewards, players must register for the promotion, take part in four tournaments, and keep the T-shirt on throughout the series. While details on past participants remain scarce, the event promises a mix of live and online action across its schedule.
The festival's location, the Merit Park Hotel Casino & SPA, has hosted poker before, though no direct links to previous EPT events have been confirmed. Searches for past winners in Northern Cyprus or similar venues have turned up unrelated results, such as TV poker shows and casino reviews.
The 2026 EAPT stop in Northern Cyprus will offer multiple ways to win, from live tournaments to online qualifiers. With €1,500,000 guaranteed and extra prizes for loyal participants, the event aims to attract both seasoned players and newcomers. Registration details and further promotions are expected to be announced closer to the March dates.
