Daniel Negreanu's high-stakes rollercoaster at WSOP Paradise 2025 begins
Daniel Negreanu has started documenting his journey at the 2025 WSOP Paradise in The Bahamas. The poker legend released the first episode of his vlog series, covering his early experiences at the high-stakes main event. His participation includes some of the most expensive tournaments on the schedule.
Negreanu's first event was the $75,000 Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO) tournament, which allowed unlimited re-entries. His table included top PLO specialists like Nacho Barbero, Laszlo Bujtas, Lautero Guerra, and Dylan Weisman. Despite the tough competition, he entered twice on Day 1.
Both attempts ended in elimination, costing him a total of $225,000. Undeterred, he now turns his attention to the $100,000 PLO event. That tournament begins at 4:00 PM on Friday, with Negreanu confirmed to take part.
As of February 21, 2026, no official registration numbers have been released for the $100,000 PLO. The event remains months away, and entries have yet to open.
Negreanu's vlog series will continue to track his progress through WSOP Paradise. His next challenge is the $100,000 PLO, where he aims for a deeper run. The tournament's final turnout and prize pool will be confirmed closer to the start date.
