Connor Rash has won the World Poker Tour bestbet Scramble in Jacksonville, Florida. He outlasted 327 players to take the top prize of $315,530 in the NCAA-style tournament. The tournament drew a strong field and a total prize pool of $1,487,850.
Rash entered the final table as the chip leader. His dominance continued as he eliminated each opponent one by one. By the end, he had collected all the chips in play.
The final showdown saw Rash face Dylan Smith heads-up in the NCAA tournament-style final. After a tense battle, Smith finished in second place, earning $200,000. Byron Kaverman took third for $150,000.
Further down the payouts, Russell Dizer secured fourth place and $112,000. Matthew Ahern followed in fifth, winning $85,000, while Jessica Dawley finished sixth for $65,000.
This year’s event marked the second WPT bestbet Scramble in Jacksonville. Darren Elias had previously won the tournament in 2023.
Rash’s victory adds his name to the list of WPT champions. The $315,530 prize is the largest share of the $1,487,850 pool. The tournament’s final standings confirm the skill and competition among the top finishers in the NCAA-style event.
