Clark County Approves Filipino Town Project for 2024

Clark County has given the green light to the Filipino Town project, slated to open in 2024. The initiative, championed by Rozita Lee for many years, will transform a portion of the Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas into a vibrant Filipino cultural hub.

The Filipino American Community of Nevada is behind the planning of Filipino Town. The project aims to celebrate and showcase Filipino culture, history, and heritage within the heart of Las Vegas. Once complete, it will be a significant addition to the city's diverse cultural landscape.

The approval on April 15, 2025, marks a major milestone in the years-long advocacy led by Rozita Lee. Her relentless efforts have finally borne fruit, paving the way for the creation of a space where the Filipino community can gather, celebrate, and share their unique identity with the broader Las Vegas community.

With Clark County's approval, the Filipino Town project is now one step closer to reality. Set to open in 2024, it promises to enrich Las Vegas's cultural scene and provide a sense of community for the Filipino American population in Nevada.
