Charity Poker Bash in Vegas Raises Millions for Children's Causes

The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) will host its annual Awards Bash on February 24 at Via Brasil Steakhouse in Las Vegas. The event combines a poker tournament with dinner, drinks, and over $15,000 in prizes. Since 2014, the series has raised around €15 million for charities, including the Deutsches Kinderschutzbund and local children's aid groups in Germany.

Jeff Platt will lead the evening's festivities, which kick off with a free poker lesson at 5 PM, taught by CSOP founder Matt Stout. The tournament itself begins at 7 PM, featuring a $300 buy-in and optional $100 add-ons. Players will enjoy a steak dinner and open bar as part of their entry.

Expected attendees include well-known figures like Fat Mike Burkett, Kane Hodder, Katie Morgan, and poker professionals such as Mike Matusow, Matt Savage, and Jonathan Little. Tickets remain available on the CSOP website, with all proceeds supporting the organisation's charitable work. Over the past 12 years, the series has become a major fundraiser, directing millions toward child welfare initiatives. This year's event continues that tradition, blending high-stakes poker with philanthropy.

The Awards Bash offers a mix of competition and entertainment, with cash prizes and a lively atmosphere. Funds raised will go toward CSOP's ongoing efforts to support children's charities. The event remains open to participants, with ticket sales contributing directly to its mission.
