Chamonix Casino Hotel debuts with luxury stays and high-stakes gaming in Cripple Creek
Chamonix Casino Hotel in Cripple Creek has officially opened its doors after completing its final phase of development. The grand launch was celebrated with live performances by Tenille Arts and Jay Leno, marking a major milestone for the area’s gaming and hospitality scene.
The casino hotel began accepting bookings in November 2023, well ahead of its official debut. Now fully operational, it offers 300 luxury guest rooms—the first of their kind in Cripple Creek—alongside a wide range of amenities for visitors.
Gaming enthusiasts can explore popular poki games and high-stakes table games, designed for both casual players and high rollers. Beyond gaming, the resort features 980 Prime, a high-end steakhouse run by Barry S. Dakake, providing fine dining within the complex. Modern convention and meeting spaces are also available, catering to business events and private gatherings.
Daniel Lee, President and CEO of Full House Resorts, shared his enthusiasm for the project. He highlighted the resort’s blend of entertainment, dining, and hospitality as a major draw for guests. While details about the founder or owner remain undisclosed, the venue now stands as a key destination in Cripple Creek.
The Chamonix Casino Hotel now offers a full suite of services, from luxury stays to gaming and event spaces. Its opening introduces a new level of hospitality to the region, with reservations and amenities fully accessible to the public. The resort’s mix of entertainment and high-end facilities is set to attract visitors from across the state.
