Brie Larson dominates Venetian DeepStack Showdown with dual poker victories
The Venetian DeepStack Showdown series concluded in Las Vegas after a bustling seven-week stretch. From 10 October to 23 November 2025, players battled in no-limit Hold'em tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $200 to $1,600. The main event attracted 7,613 entries and awarded over $2.3 million in prize money across numerous competitions.
The series launched on 10 October, featuring a blend of high-stakes and mid-range events. Among the standout champions, Brie Larson secured two titles: Event #33 for $2,092 and Event #44 for $10,524. Aleksei Efremov also claimed two victories, winning Event #35 ($1,887) and Event #72 ($1,604). Other notable winners included Himmat Singh (Event #56 - $15,497), Antony Baker (Event #70 - $12,944), Dontaye Strawder (Event #40 - $18,000), and Qing Liu (Event #22 - $20,565).
The 2025 Venetian DeepStack Showdown wrapped up with a total of $2,313,868 distributed among winners. Multiple players, including Larson and Efremov, emerged victorious in more than one event. The event's success paved the way for the DeepStack Extravaganza IV, which commenced just days later.
