Borgata Winter Poker Open 2026 crowns champions with millions in prizes

The 2026 Borgata Winter Poker Open concluded this month at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. Over 37 events transpired, offering players a chance at more than $8 million in prize money throughout the series.

Several players secured major victories during the competition. Blake Vogdes claimed first place in the $3,500 Winter Poker Open Championship, earning $457,980. Akash Hotwani also secured a top prize of $323,775 after winning the $600 Deepstack Main Event.

Michael Renna walked away with $190,740 for his victory in the $400 Almighty Stack. Meanwhile, Ronald Cleaver won Event #20: the $450 Saturday Series, collecting $30,675. Aubrey Williams triumphed in Event #4: the BetMGM Hybrid Championship, pocketing $52,540. Other notable winners included Christopher Basile, who earned $56,900 in Event #10: the $550 Super Deep 6-Max. Michael McGuinness secured $19,970 in Event #5: the $380 Seniors Championship. Lee Llagan was crowned champion in the $380 Ladies Championship. As of January 21, some side events remain ongoing or unresolved. Official leaderboards for top performers have not yet been finalised, and updates can be found through Borgata Poker’s official channels.

The series offered a mix of high-stakes tournaments and accessible buy-ins, attracting a wide range of competitors.
