Bonnie Bona stages epic comeback to win 2026 FPN Clash of Kings & Queens Main Event

Bonnie Bona has won the 2026 Free Poker Network (FPN) Clash of Kings & Queens National Championship Main Event. She overcame a near-elimination to claim the title and a $25,000 prize. The tournament, featuring 392 players and a total prize pool of $58,700, saw Bona's dramatic comeback with less than a single big blind remaining. She secured the win in just a few hands against Tammy Quade, who finished second, earning $10,000.

Ryne Peterson, the 21-year-old son of former FPN champion Nels Peterson, finished third and took home $5,000. Peterson aimed to become the youngest champion in FPN history but fell short this time. Joel Smith, a two-time FPN champion, reached three final tables and won the Tag Team Championship, adding to his list of achievements. Earlier in the series, Bona placed eighth in the Royal Court championship before her Main Event triumph.

Bona's win at Golden Nugget Las Vegas marks her first FPN National Championship title, further cementing her reputation in competitive poker. Quade and Peterson also left with significant earnings, while Smith's consistent performance reinforced his status as a top player.
