BOMBERMAN Slots Explode onto Casino Floors with Nostalgic Twist
Two new BOMBERMAN-themed slot games have arrived at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood. The titles, BOMBERMAN BLAST and BOMBERMAN BOOM, mark the first time the classic video game franchise has been adapted into casino slots. Both traditional slot players and longtime fans of the series can now try their luck on the casino floor.
The games launched in December, developed by Konami Gaming, Inc., a Las Vegas-based subsidiary of KONAMI GROUP CORPORATION. Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood became the first casino in Florida to introduce them, following an initial rollout at tribal casinos across the state in 2023.
Each title features a five-reel base game topped with three metamorphic bombs. When Bomb symbols land on the centre reels, players unlock bonus adventures with cash-on-reels prizes, bonus awards, and a grand jackpot. The slots also bring back familiar elements from the original games, including brick walls, speckled eggs, power-ups, and the franchise’s signature cartoon bombs. Iconic characters like White BOMBERMAN and Black BOMBERMAN appear throughout, adding to the playful, nostalgic feel. John Eary, vice president of marketing at Konami Gaming, described the slots as a milestone for the company, staying true to the franchise’s fun and innovative spirit. Bo Guidry, president of Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood, highlighted the casino’s role in introducing a globally recognised gaming icon to its players.
