Blooms Emporium Brings New Energy to Atlanta's Art Scene
Blooms Emporium, a fine art showroom and workshop space in Atlanta, has expanded into Chinatown with a new art centre. The venue now offers weekly classes alongside curated exhibitions, focusing on education and cultural engagement for artists of all levels.
The new location hosts sessions in figure drawing, ceramics, photography, and traditional Asian art. Beginners and intermediate learners can also join classes covering fundamentals, including Asian art and tattoo motifs.
In addition to its regular programme, Blooms Emporium has partnered with the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. Together, they provide monthly Chinese watercolour workshops, though no other partners currently offer similar classes. Owner Andrew Blooms designed the space to welcome both experienced artists and newcomers. The emporium goes beyond a standard gallery by combining exhibitions with hands-on learning opportunities.
With its Chinatown expansion, Blooms Emporium strengthens its role in Atlanta’s art scene. The centre’s classes and partnerships aim to make traditional and contemporary art accessible to a wider audience. Weekly sessions and special workshops will continue as part of its growing programme.
