Bernhard Binder Manifests Prediction to Win WSOP Super Main Event for $10 Million
Bernhard Binder has claimed his first World Series of Poker bracelet—and a life-changing $10,000,000 prize. The 27-year-old online poker specialist outlasted a tough field to win the 2025 WSOP Paradise Event #11: $25,000 Super Main Event. His victory followed a gruelling heads-up duel against experienced pro Jean-Noel Thorel.
The tournament drew 2,891 players, smashing its $60 million guarantee to build a final prize pool of $72,275,000. Among the final table contenders were high-stakes regular Eric Wasserson, poker media figures Terrance Reid and Natasha Mercier, and seasoned grinder Franco Spitale.
Binder’s path to victory wasn’t easy. He faced off against 51-year-old Triton circuit veteran Jean-Noel Thorel in a heads-up battle lasting nearly four hours. The Austrian’s rail—a rowdy group of fellow poker pros—cheered him on throughout the final stages. After securing the win, Binder thanked his friends for their unwavering support. He also celebrated the fact that his best friend, Samuel Mullur, had previously won a WSOP bracelet of his own. The moment marked a milestone for the young player, who had built his reputation mainly in online poker.
The $10,000,000 payday is the largest of Binder’s career. His victory adds his name to the list of WSOP champions in one of the year’s most prestigious events. The tournament’s massive turnout and high-calibre competition further cemented its place as a highlight of the 2025 series.
