Belarus-Vietnam Tourism Booms as Minsk-Phu Quoc Route Takes Off
Belarus and Vietnam have initiated their Strategic Partnership with the launch of the Minsk - Phu Quoc charter flight route. The inaugural flight, operated by Belavia Belarusian Airlines, touched down at Phu Quoc International Airport on October 12, carrying 281 passengers. The route is anticipated to bring nearly 10,000 Belarusian visitors to Vietnam during the 2025-26 tourist season.
The Minsk - Phu Quoc route will operate once every 11 days, with all tickets sold out until March 2026. Belarusian citizens can enjoy visa-free stays in Vietnam for up to 30 days. The tour operator AeroBel Service has organized these flights, which are a significant boost for tourism between the two countries. Belavia, the Belarusian national airline, plans to expand its operations in Vietnam, exploring other resort destinations for future charter flights. This expansion is supported by the recent addition of modern Airbus A330-200 aircraft to Belavia's fleet.
