Artur Martirosian secures third WSOP bracelet in epic heads-up showdown

Artur Martirosian has claimed his third WSOP bracelet by winning the 2025 $25,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em Championship. The victory followed a gruelling series of matches against some of poker's toughest competitors. His triumph also secured him $500,000 in prize money and 300 PokerGO Tour points.

Martirosian's path to the title included defeats over elite players like Jeremy Ausmus, Faraz Jaka, Kevin Rabichow, and Chance Kornuth. In the final, he faced Aliaksei Boika, a seasoned pro with an EPT Malta win and multiple WSOP final-table appearances. Boika took home $300,000 for his runner-up finish.

This latest win brings Martirosian's total live tournament earnings to over $28 million. He now holds two WSOP heads-up titles alongside a Flip & Go bracelet. Meanwhile, Patrick Leonard's deep run in the event earned him 108 PokerGO Tour points, lifting him into the top 10 on the season's leaderboard. As of March 2026, only Jesse Lonis has matched the feat of winning at least two WSOP Heads-Up Poker Championships, having claimed back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023.

Martirosian's victory reinforces his reputation as one of the most formidable heads-up players in poker. The $500,000 prize and additional ranking points further solidify his position among the game's elite. His third bracelet also places him in rare company within WSOP history.
