Aleksei Vandyshev has won the PLO Grand Slam Prague €5,200 event, securing his first major live Pot-Limit Omaha title. The victory earned him €218,550 from a €1,000,000 prize pool. This triumph adds to his already impressive poker career, which includes a $2.5 million win in the 2021 WSOP Online Main Event.
The tournament took place at the All Inn Casino in Prague as part of the Diamond Poker Series. Vandyshev entered the final day among 11 remaining players, none of whom had a clear advantage early on. His breakthrough came when he eliminated Omar Eljach, becoming the first to build an eight-figure chip stack.
Vandyshev’s win at the PLO Grand Slam Prague confirms his skill across different poker formats. The €218,550 prize is the largest share of the event’s €1,000,000 pool. His performance further solidifies his reputation as a top competitor in both No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha.
