Alan Pham Wins 2025 WPT Australia Championship and $364K Prize

The 2025 WPT Australia Championship has crowned a new winner after a week of high-stakes poker. Alan Pham took first place, securing $364,958 USD and the prestigious Mike Sexton Champion’s Cup. The event drew 600 players to The Star Sydney casino for a $5,500 AUD buy-in tournament.

The World Poker Tour (WPT) Australia festival ran from September 18 to October 1. Alongside the main event, it featured a $20,000 AUD Super High Roller and a $1,500 AUD Australian Poker Cup. The championship alone built a $1,961,000 USD prize pool from its 600 entries.

Pham’s victory adds his name to the WPT Australia Championship’s history. The tournament continues to attract top players, with next year’s edition already anticipated. The 2025 festival solidified its reputation as a major stop on the poker calendar.
