Alan Keating’s $1.295M Poker Bluff Backfires in Epic Livestream Showdown

A dramatic bluff unfolded during a High Stakes Poker livestream when Alan Keating lost a $1.295 million pot. The high-stakes hand played out in front of viewers, ending with Keating’s bold but failed attempt to deceive his opponents. No verifiable record of such a large livestream win exists at that time.

The hand began with a series of straddles, leading to a $6,400 raise from Keating. The flop came 9♠ 7♦ 2♣, and Kiki bet $30,000 with 8♣ 6♣, while Santhosh Suvarna called with A♠ 5♠. Keating, holding Q♠ J♦ T♣ 4♥, called as well, floating with four high.

On the turn (**3♥**), Keating bet $45,000, but Kiki raised to $125,000. Keating called again, hoping for a favourable river. When the **5♥** landed, Kiki checked, and Keating went all in for an additional $446,000, pushing the pot to $1,295,600. Kiki called with a made straight, while Suvarna folded. Keating’s bluff failed—his **Q-high** couldn’t beat Kiki’s **8-high straight**, costing him the massive pot.

The hand marked one of the largest bluffs caught on a livestreamed poker game. Keating’s aggressive play backfired, leaving him without the $1.295 million pot. The moment was captured live, though no official records confirm such a win at that time.
