AdvantaPure Unveils EcoFlex: A Greener Tubing Breakthrough for Pharma
AdvantaPure has launched EcoFlex, a new sustainable tubing solution for pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturers. The product is the first in the company's AdvantaBio portfolio, designed to cut carbon emissions without sacrificing performance. CEO Mary Marcus highlighted its significance as the brand's first inherently eco-friendly offering.
EcoFlex replaces traditional fossil-based oils with bio-based alternatives during production. This change reduces its carbon footprint by around 25%. Despite the shift, the tubing maintains the same technical standards, ensuring manufacturers meet regulatory requirements without compromising quality.
The product is versatile, supporting sealing, welding, and custom configurations for single-use systems. It also comes with a full validation package, making it suitable for strict biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical environments. Carolina Components Group now distributes EcoFlex, improving access for companies aiming to adopt greener manufacturing practices.
AdvantaPure's parent company, NewAge Industries, holds an ISO-9001 certification and a Platinum EcoVadis Sustainability Rating. As an employee-owned business, it also carries Certified B Corporation status. The launch of EcoFlex follows growing industry demand for sustainable supply chain solutions.
EcoFlex provides pharmaceutical manufacturers with a verified way to lower emissions while keeping performance intact. Distributed through Carolina Components Group, it marks the first watch in AdvantaPure's AdvantaBio line of sustainability components. The product's regulatory compliance and adaptability position it as a practical choice for eco-conscious production.
