6ix9ine wins $50K in prison blackjack bet despite incarceration
Controversial rapper 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is currently serving a three-month prison sentence for violating supervised release. Despite his incarceration, reports have emerged about his high-stakes gambling activities from behind bars—including a major win on a blackjack hand in January. Hernandez was already known for his risky behaviour while in custody. In a previous incident, he paid $10,000 to have a phone smuggled into his cell, reportedly to continue gambling. This time, he placed a $15,000 bet on a single hand of blackjack using his Rainbet account.
The gamble paid off when the dealer went bust, netting him a $50,000 profit. This wasn't his only large wager—he later played another hand worth $50,000, again through Rainbet. The gambling platform has no confirmed partnership with Hernandez, despite his use of their services. Rainbet already works with other high-profile figures, including streamer Adin Ross, boxer Ryan Garcia, and content creator Cuffem. No public statements have been made about any official collaboration with the rapper.
Hernandez's latest prison stint has not stopped his gambling habits, with two major blackjack bets placing him in the spotlight once more. While Rainbet has not acknowledged any ties to him, his use of their platform has drawn attention to the brand. His sentence continues, with no further details released about potential consequences for his gambling activities.
