2026 PokerGO Tour kicks off with high-stakes action and double points
The 2026 PokerGO Tour (PGT) season is set to begin just a week after the 2025 finale. The schedule kicks off on January 26 with the PGT Kickoff series, offering high-stakes action and double points for participants. This year’s line-up includes familiar events alongside new additions, maintaining the tour’s reputation for elite competition.
The PGT, launched in 2021, has grown into a premier series featuring tournaments like the Super High Roller Bowl, Poker Masters, and the US Poker Open. Past champions include Rok Gostisa, Jason Koon, and Chad Eveslage, who claimed the 2025 title.
The season opens with the PGT Kickoff at the PokerGO Studio from January 26-31. Buy-ins range from $5,300 to $10,500, and players will earn double PGT points throughout the week. This event sets the stage for a competitive year.
From February 3-11, the PGT Mixed Games series follows, offering a variety of formats. Buy-ins start at $5,300, peaking at $26,000 for the final nine-game event. This series tests players’ versatility across different poker disciplines.
The PokerGO Cup, the first Major of 2026, runs from March 1-15. It features 10 tournaments, including a multi-flight opening event, attracting top professionals. Later in March, the PGT PLO Series takes place at Venetian Las Vegas from March 20-29. Two $500,000 guaranteed events headline the series, with satellites providing additional entry opportunities.
The season concludes with the PGT Championship, a $1,000,000 freeroll exclusively for the top 40 point earners. Past winners include Daniel Smiljkovic (2023) and Jeremy Ausmus (2024), who also secured Player of the Year honours in 2024. Alex Foxen claimed the 2025 Player of the Year title after a strong season.
The 2025 PGT included over 145 events, with highlights such as the summer WSOP and a new partnership with the Paradise series in The Bahamas. The 2026 schedule aims to build on this momentum, offering more opportunities for high-stakes play.
The 2026 PGT season promises intense competition across multiple series, from mixed games to PLO events. With double points early in the year and a $1,000,000 freeroll finale, players will battle for rankings and major prizes. The tour continues to expand, reinforcing its position as a key fixture in professional poker.
